ABOUT

Keegan Meadows, MA, LPCC

Hi, I’m Keegan (he/him)!

In my own healing journey, therapy gave me the permission I needed to listen to my inner voice. The gratitude I feel toward my therapist and therapy alike allowed me to recognize my inner calling to walk beside you on your healing journey. That means we move at your pace, follow what feels most alive for you, and center your voice and inner wisdom throughout the process. I trust the therapeutic space can be a place to reconnect with your truth and build a more loving relationship with yourself.

In addition to my clinical training at Naropa University studying Mindfulness-based Transpersonal Counseling, I’ve been deeply involved in LGBTQ+ and trans advocacy. I’ve worked with trans youth navigating identity, family dynamics, and systemic barriers, and have supported clients in early recovery while working at a detox center. During my clinical internship at Medicine Horse, I provided both individual and group therapy, incorporating equine-assisted and experiential modalities to support clients with complex trauma, mood disorders, and attachment wounds. Across all of these experiences, I’ve seen how vital it is for all of us to have access to spaces where we are not just accepted, but celebrated. My therapeutic work is inseparable from my advocacy: I believe healing is political, personal, and possible when we are held with care.

What keeps me grounded are days spent wandering dirt trails, cooling off in Boulder Creek, sitting quietly in contemplation, and endless adventures with my dog Driftwood—the unofficial best therapist around. I balance deep dives into books about healing and the nervous system with catching up on the latest reality TV, all while prioritizing time with the close-knit community of friends I proudly call family. Nature, curiosity, laughter, and connection are at the heart of how I live—and they naturally flow into how I show up with my clients, too.

If you’re seeking a therapist who will meet you with warmth, respect, and reverence for your full self—I’d be honored to walk with you.
